COVID-19 Important Update
7th June 2020
The clinic is now operating a limited service at the Body Junction following NHS England guidelines – Patients will be given a Triage telephone consultation as the initial appointment – The consultation will be followed up with a second telephone call to determine the need for a face to face contact – Face to face contact visits have now changed prior to Covid-19 – Patients would be expected to wear face coverings The waiting room will not be in use and so patients will be allowed into the clinic at their appointment time. Please note that the front door will be locked and opened only at the appointment time. In order to clean the room and change PPE appointments will initially be spread out an hour apart, and this means that no one is waiting at the front door beyond their appointment time. Your temperature will be taken on arrival and there will be hand sanitiser available. Please note anyone with an increased body temperature will not be allowed into the building The toilets will not be in use and no water facilities will be available in the waiting room. Payments should be made by Bank Transfer, cheque; cash will be accepted if no other alternative is available. In the future contactless payment methods will be made available. These measures have been taken to protect you the patient, the staff working at the clinic and our community. Please do bear with us we estimate that the clinic will be able only to see between 30-40% of our pre-covid-19 caseload.
